Parada! Zda se mi to nebo to je barvou, ale nema nahodou jiny ty vydechy u prednich kol? Taky zadek mi prijde trochu jiny. Ale celkove je to moc podareny!
I wish people were perhaps safer around cars so that legislators didn't make new European pedestrian safey regulations, but that Jaguar looks fantastic.
(this link says the next XK will use the Jaguar-based 4.4 liter V-8 used in the new Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover, but that engine is tuned for off-road driving and more low-end torque than Jaguar's 4.2 liter V-8)
I have also heard that. Not exactly about a 4.4 V8, but about slightly tweaked engine power : actual 300 to 320-330, resp. 400 to 450 for the R version. Also a RR version is under developement. But what even botheres me more is the info that LR(RR) could adopt Astons V12. Why not, I say, if Jag get one too.
I guy in a Jaguar stops on the red light, sudenly a (car) rushes in and slams into the Jags trunk. The guy inside the Jag feels a small bump, and the onboard computer says: There has been new hardware added, do you want to install the latest drivers?
I don't understand why Land Rover would need Aston Martin's V-12. A V-12-powered Range Rover would be very, very expensive. It would need to be modified for off-road driving. A new Jaguar XJ12 would make far more sense.
the price of a V12 is not the question. There are people who want a V12 under their bonnet. Not because of the power but for other things. I guess that for some, the best solution would be a V8 with a V12 badge. At least in our country. I am not kidding.
I don't think the next Jaguar XK will be raced in the Trans-Am Series. It would be raced in FIA GT or the American Le Mans Series if it were raced at all.
I like how the tail tapers off like the current XK. The next XK will have to comply with new European pedestrian safety regulations. The next XK will have a grille inspired by the Jaguar E-Type.
