Jaguar F-Type?

I'm not sure where to put this, but here is a link to where you can have your say about the F-Type.

It's really too bad the F didn't make it; this car could have returned Jaguar to the hardcore sports car realm.  No wood veneer, no heated steering wheel; just two seats, a manual transmission, and an open top.  Hopefully between this and the ALC, Jaguar will eventually come up with a real sports car sometime in the near future.

Since the next XK will get a modified XJ's aluminum chassis, perhaps the F-Type could be built using the XK's chassis with a V-8.

Now THAT is a good idea; I, and I think everyone else I know, would immediately be in line to get their hands on an open top 2 seat Jaguar with a manual transmission coupled to an AJV8.

why not new xk with manual transmission? I think cars like Audi TT or Nissan 350Z is no way for Jag

I think the next XK should have a manual transmission.

A V-8-powered F-Type isn't anything like a Nissan 350Z or an Audi TT. It would be like a modern day E-Type.

no manual, sorry.
the new XK will adopt a sequential gearbox (padles, Tiptronic if you like) from AstonM.
It will be an option.

NEW it is not a sequential gearbox , its the ZF 6sp with padles and different programing

I've heard the DB9's ZF 6 speed automatic transmission is very smooth.

I wish Jaguar would build the F-Type. Give it an aluminum chassis, a V-8 engine, a manual transmision, and call it the "XK 320."

Tell Jaguar to build it at the following link:
