Why does every comparison I read between the Jaguar XK8/XKR end up with the Jag in last? The current XK range has to be the most visually appealing car on the road today and has unparalelled build and ride quality. Yet, it still seems like everyone just wants to bash the big cat for not being an XKE. Thoughts?
Road & Track had a comparison of the XK8, MB SL500, Maserati Spyder, Cadillac XLR, Porsche 911, and the Lexus SC430 convertibles back in 2003 and I think the Jag placed third or so. Perhaps car magazines want Jaguar to build the F-Type along with the XK8.
